If you’re new to Classic Barbell, this Intro to Barbell Clinic is for you. In this private, 1-hour session, you’ll receive in-depth instruction on the basic barbell exercises, programming strategies, proper nutrition, gym etiquette, safety and more.

Attending the Intro to Barbell Clinic is a prerequisite for joining our semi-private program. In this 1-hour private session, you’ll learn the fundamentals of how to safely perform the basic barbells lifts. An Intro to Barbell Clinic is included with each semi-private membership.

After you’ve completed the Intro to Barbell Clinic and your membership enrollment, you can book your sessions and join Semi-Private classes.
Classes are held mutiple times a day Monday - Saturday.
Our Intro Barbell Clinic is designed to turn new trainees into confident, capable, self-sufficient lifters. In this private, 1-hour session, you’ll learn everything you need to know to begin strength training effectively, including in-depth instruction on the basic barbell exercises, programming strategies, proper nutrition, gym etiquette, safety and more. Intro to Barbell Clinics are included in the purchase of a Semi-Private Membership.
This 1-hour private session + 1 week of semi-private training teaches you how to safely and effectively perform the basic barbell lifts. You will receive detailed coaching on how to perform the squat, the bench press, the deadlift and the press. You will be guided through the fundamentals of barbell training. You will learn how to warm up, pick your starting weights and learn how to arrange all of this into a program that will help make you happy, healthy, and strong.​

Attending an Intro to Barbell Clinic is required before joining our Semi-Private Classes. We require attendance for intro clinics before joining our group classes so you can train with us safely and effectively. If you haven't attended an Intro - Sign up here to get started.

Upon completion of the Intro Clinic, you'll be able to become a member, book classes and manage your schedule and selected services.
... yep! If you have previous experience, that's awesome! We'll familiarize with your experience as we onboard you to our program and can use our time as a technique tune-up opportunity.

Wear a t-shirt or an athletic shirt
Stretchy shorts or pants that you can squat in
Hard soled shoes like Converse or Vans, or weightlifting shoes.
Weightlifting belt
