Our Intro Barbell Clinic (https://www.classicbarbell.com/bookings-checkout/intro-to-barbell-trial?referral=service_list_widget)is designed to turn new trainees into confident, capable, self-sufficient lifters. In this private, 1-hour session, you’ll learn everything you need to know to begin strength training effectively, including in-depth instruction on the basic barbell exercises, programming strategies, proper nutrition, gym etiquette, safety and more. Intro to Barbell Clinics are included in the purchase of a Semi-Private Membership.(https://www.classicbarbell.com/plans)
This 1-hour private session + 1 week of semi-private training teaches you how to safely and effectively perform the basic barbell lifts. You will receive detailed coaching on how to perform the squat, the bench press, the deadlift and the press. You will be guided through the fundamentals of barbell training. You will learn how to warm up, pick your starting weights and learn how to arrange all of this into a program that will help make you happy, healthy, and strong.
You will also learn about:
• Effective program strategies
• General nutrition for strength training
• Gym etiquette + Attire
• Equipment recommendations
Attending an Intro to Barbell Clinic is required before joining our Semi-Private Classes.(https://www.classicbarbell.com/book-online) We require attendance for intro clinics before joining our group classes so you can train with us safely and effectively. • Stretchy shorts or pants that you can squat in
